Overview

AZAR is seeking a creative and storytelling-driven Script Writer Intern to join our remote team. This role is perfect for someone who can transform marketing goals into engaging scripts for short-form videos (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) and social media campaigns. You will play a key role in shaping the voice of various brands in the Saudi market.

Responsibilities

• Write catchy and engaging scripts for short-form video content (Reels & TikTok).
• Research and brainstorm creative ideas that align with current social media trends.
• Develop “Hook” sentences and Call-to-Actions (CTAs) that drive audience engagement.
• Adapt the tone of voice to suit different industries (Marketing, Logistics, Tech, etc.).
• Collaborate with the graphic design and marketing teams to ensure visual and verbal alignment.

Skills & Technologies

• Creative Writing: Strong ability to write concise, persuasive, and entertaining content.
• Content Strategy: Understanding of how to structure a script to keep viewers watching.
• Language: Proficiency in Arabic (Creative/Ammiya is a plus) and good English.
• Research: Ability to quickly understand new industries and target audiences.
• Tools: Familiarity with Google Docs, ChatGPT (for brainstorming), and basic project management tools.

• A Portfolio or samples of previous writing (scripts, articles, or social media posts).
• A deep understanding of social media trends and viral video structures.
• High creativity and the ability to think “outside the box.”
• Commitment to meeting deadlines in a remote work environment.
• Strong communication skills and a desire to learn digital marketing storytelling.
